1 pound beef stew meat
1 medium yellow onion chopped
1 teaspoon minced garlic
1 teaspoon onion powder
1/4 teaspoon of salt
1/2 teaspoon of pepper
1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
1 can beef broth
1 can cream of mushroom soup (I had cream of celery so I used that instead – it tasted quite good)
Mushrooms – fresh or canned if you like (my son does not like them so I left them out)
1 cup sour cream
Spray your crockpot with cooking spray for easy clean up later. Add the following ingredients: Beef, onion, garlic, onion powder, salt, pepper, mushrooms if you are using them, Worcestershire sauce, beef broth, and cream soup. Stir all ingredients together.
About 30 minutes before serving – add the cup of sour cream. Using about 1 tablespoon of flour and 1 – 2 teaspoons of water make a flour paste in a little bowl. Add this to the crockpot stir again and cover. Cook for the remainder of the time.
Cook the egg noodles according to the package directions. Serve the stroganoff over the noodles and have a side salad for a complete meal. Enjoy!
