Greetings!!! I am back in the United States and back on the Blog. Actually I arrived home last week but it took me a week to get back in the right time zone and back on track. Hope you are all enjoying your Summer and getting ready to celebrate the 4th of July.
Here is what I have cooking at the Haus this week:
Monday: 4th of July BBQ (Typical foods: Hamburgers, hotdogs, salads, fruit, etc.)
Tuesday: Frikadellen (German Hamburgers) sautéed mushrooms and onions, French Fries, salad
Wednesday: Cilantro-Lime Black Bean Chicken and Rice (I am going to try this recipe but will add chicken instead of shrimp as my family is not a big fan of seafood) This is a gluten free recipe.
Thursday: Spicy Italian Meatballs, GF spaghetti, mixed green salad (New recipe – will let you know how we like it) Using GF Breadcrumbs to make this gluten free.
Friday: Southwestern Pizzas (Trying this Recipe this week as well. I love when we can make individual pizzas as my family all enjoys different toppings. I am thinking adding olives instead of tomatoes to those in my family who are anti-tomato) Corn Tortillas makes this gluten free.
